On computer vision, interactive systems and creative coding
4. - 8. December 2019
Interested students attending the workshop [Human : Computer] INTERFACE which combines computer vision, interactive systems and creative coding with architecture. The outcome of the 2.5-day workshop will provide the basic understanding of facial recognition, body pose, gaze detection algorithms, towards the creation of a concept design for an interactive space stimulated by the physical presence of its inhabitants. The workshop will take place at the Angewandte between
4. - 8. December 2019 Institut of Architecture, University of Applied Arts.
Friday 6. December 2019 (Day 1 - 9:30-20:00): will give the students a basic understanding
of machine learning algorithms, and an introduction to facial recognition, body pose, gaze detection algorithms that use the human as an interface.
Saturday 7. December 2019 (Day 2 - 9:30-20:00): will focus on the development of an interactive space/environment that exhibits its own character and personality, inherits unpredictability and variations stimulated by its inhabitants, crowds and individual interaction using interactive algorithms from day 1 to manipulate digital models.
Sunday 8. December 2019 (Day 3 - 12:00-16:00): presentation of outcome
